When some one we know experiences loss, it can be difficult to know how to console them. We may be at a loss for words, uncomfortable with their expression of deep emotions or confused as to what is a normal grief response.

VIROQUA — Charlene Elderkin wants people to know they have options when planning a funeral, some that hark back to the days when family members were laid out at home to say goodbye.
